The police and government officials and the car makers keep telling us that these blindingly bright white/blue LED headlights are better for safety. However, from the video, it looks to me like all these headlights do is cause blinding glare. Here is a screen capture of the video.
The driver coming towards this car with the blinding headlights cannot see any pedestrian and cannot see most of the road.
While this sad story is about a single pedestrian and car, the big issue is why government is allowing these types of headlights.
I encourage you to dig deeper, show this video and screen grab to government officials and ask them why they allow such blinding headlights.
